Dmitry Patrushev: Russia expects to export up to 53 million tons of wheat in the 2023/2024 season
Russia in the 2023/2024 agricultural season (started on July 1, 2023) will export 70 million tons of grain, including 53 million tons of wheat, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev said during the All-Russian Grain Forum.
“We are very active in the export market. We expect that this season supplies will increase to 70 million tons of grain, including up to 53 million tons of wheat, to global markets,” said Dmitry Patrushev.
According to previously announced forecasts by the Ministry of Agriculture, the volume of Russian grain exports in the 2023/2024 season (from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024) could reach a record level of 70 million tons (there have been no estimates for wheat yet). Grain export deliveries in the previous season (2022/2023) amounted to 60 million tons, of which about 47 million tons were wheat.
