Russia will not yet extend the ban on the export of durum wheat; its sown area should increase by 30%. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev at the All-Russian Grain Forum, which takes place in Sochi.
“According to the new crop rotation plan, the sowing area of durum wheat should now increase by 30%, and the sowing area should increase to 1.5 million hectares. I hope that in the current conditions we will not yet have to extend the ban on the export of durum wheat,” said Dmitry Patrushev.
