Russia Sees Surge in Alcoholic Beverage Sales

From January to May 2024, sales of alcoholic beverages reached 93.5 million deciliters, marking a 5% increase from the same period last year, according to the Federal Service for the Control of Alcoholic and Tobacco Markets (Rosalkogoltabakkontrol).

The statistical data provided by the service omits sales of beer, beer-based drinks, cider, poiret, mead, and alcoholic beverages sold in public foodservice establishments.
