Wheat Export Duty to Increase by 5% Starting July 17

The duty on Russian wheat exports will be set at 1780.5 rubles per ton starting on July 17, 2024, which is a 5% increase from the current rate of 1701.3 rubles. Zero duty on barley and corn exports will remain unchanged, the Ministry of Agriculture states.

The export duty rate for wheat and meslin (EAEU Customs Codes 1001 19 000 0 and 1011 99 000 0) is calculated at an indicative price of $233.3 per ton. For barley, the indicative price is $176.5 per ton, and for corn, it is 190.9 per ton.

The calculated rates of export customs duties are applied starting on the third working day after their announcement and remain valid until the next set of rates comes into effect.
