Russian Barley Exports to Saudi Arabia Surge Ninefold
Russia has increased its barley exports to Saudi Arabia ninefold since the beginning of the current year. According to Agroexport, the Federal Center for the Development of Agricultural Exports of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia now stands as the leading importer of Russian barley.
As of July 1, Russia exported over 1.1 million tons of barley to Saudi Arabia during the specified period, nine times more than in the same period last year.
As previously reported, the zero duty on barley and corn exports from Russia will remain unchanged from July 31, while the duty on wheat will be reduced by 70% to 906.4 rubles per ton.
