Agroexport: Russia has strengthened its leadership in the supply of edible vegetable oils to China
According to the results of the first quarter of 2024, Russian supplies of edible vegetable oils to China accounted for 58.4% of the total volume of imports of these agricultural products to China, reports the Federal Center Agroexport of the Russian Ministry of Agriculture.
In January–March, supplies of Russian edible vegetable oils from Russia to China increased by 18.2% compared to the same period in 2023, amounting to a record 578.3 thousand tons, the center cites data from the General Administration of Customs of the People’s Republic of China.
Previously, Agroexport reported a more than double increase in supplies of Russian dairy products to China in the first quarter.
