The largest soybean processing plant will be launched in the Far East
Russia’s largest plant for processing agricultural crops, including soybeans, is planned to be opened at the end of 2026 in Amur Oblast. This was reported by the regional government.
It is specified that the plant of the Sodrugestvo company will start operating in Belogorsk.
At the Russian-Chinese economic forum AmurExpo, the All-Russian Soybean Research Institute and Sodrugestvo Management Company signed a memorandum of intent.
The parties agreed to work together to increase the yield and gross yield of soybeans, popularize local varieties and strengthen cooperation in the development of technology, tools and methods for growing the oilseed crop.
